Sirubari Astam Trek

The Sirubari village is a Gurung settlement set in the hills at 1,700 metres above sea level. The climate is ideal at any time between September and June with warm days and cool nights. The Village is a 4 to 5 hour drive from Pokhara, the major tourist centre for the Annapurna region. The main road goes to Baglung but a turn-off to the left at Naudanda goes to Sirubari. If you wish to walk, the trail to the village is steep but well made and most people manage to reach the village after a four or five hour walk from Naudanda.
When you reach Sirubari, you will be welcomed into the community and invited to stay in the home of one of the village families. The accommodation is simple but comfortable with good bedding as well as clean toilet facilities. The food is delicious and you will be eating your meals as one of the family.
Astamkot This is another scenic place to visit. One can have a panoramic view of the entire Annaurna Range, Mt. Machhapuchhre, and several other mountain peaks from Astamkot. Rural settlements, rivers, green forests and hills are other tourist attractions in the area.
Visitors can really experience the agro-tourism. One of the major tourist attractions of the area is the Agro-Resort ‘Hana-Ie (The House of Flowers in Japanese). The resort offers tours to the agro-farm run by the resort itself. The farm covers 87 ropanis of land where hygienic and pure organic seasonal vegetables and fruits are produced. The resort has also kept buffaloes for milk.
Established by Japanese investors, the resort aims to promote sustainable tourism through producing organic agro-products for tourists. The resort imports only meat products and Japanese rice from outside. All other products required for the resort are local ones.

Every night there will be entertainment provide by the villagers. One evening this will be in the form of traditional Gurung and Nepali dancing and singing – you can join in if you like. As the locals are all Buddhist, the gompa, a simple but beautiful temple, will be a feature of your stay. There will be the chance to get a blessing from the resident lama before you leave.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu then transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Pick at hotel then fly to Pokhara. Transfer to karkineta then go to Sirubari Village.
Day 03: All day excursions in Sirubari Village.
Day 04: Fly back to Pokhara then all day free. Provide lunch and dinner.
Day 05: Pick at hotel then transfer to milanchok.Then trek to ASTAMKOT(HANANOIE)
Day 06: Trek DOWN to Milanchok. Then Transfer to Pokhara. Lunch at PKR. Fly back to Kathmandu, then free.
Day 07: Kathmandu Durbar square sightseeing.Provide lunch and dinner. Airport Departure.
